“Governments make laws. So, too, do institutions. Behaviour that may be ok here is not ok there. If we don’t want to make foul of the authorities, we had best be aware of where we are, whom we are with, and whether we are acting appropriately. It is always pleasing to beat the system, but being disciplined for a transgression is no fun. Beware of the temptation that may put us in a position of power over a set of circumstances that might normally have power over us.”
